On January 30th there were three jars of peanut butter in the gifting crate down on the berm.On Feburary 2nd there were two jars in the crate... So I added a half full bag of Hersey's Mini's to sweeten the deal... On February 9th I came home to find a couple of small rock piles. One in the driveway and another handful of rocks in the road. One thing I have learned about this research...is to pay close attention to little things like this. In the 4 and a half years I have been at this location, I have never found rocks piled up anywhere. Not in the driveway....nor ever in the road. So what seems like a little deal, is really a pretty big deal. And it's just the kind of thing that a 'normal' person might not notice at all. I walked down to the crate, and yep! Another jar is missing. So this morning the weather is beautiful and I decided to have a walk around. And first place I checked was the crate. Yep...the last jar of peanut better is gone. So I took a hike to see if I could find some of the jars...I did! Three jars were within 15 feet of each other ... only found one with it's lid on, there other two were off. They are all empty. Video below... Two new jars are going out tonight. It's going to be above freezing...so I think I'll sneak the thermal camera out as well.
I'll keep you guys posted! Much love to you. Sybilla

This blog is really intriguing and interesting at the same time. Actually, I just got here, exactly on this particular post. I am not that aware of your experiment. I was not sure if you are just giving away peanut butter jars to homeless people, but then I realized that it was something more- something mysterious and mystical. I am really interested in your research, I am actually hooked and wanting to read more on this blog. More power to you and to your research. I am looking forward for more.

i believe the last one was probably a young BF. just my assumption. because the bottom was bitten off. compared to the 2 first jars of peanut butter. also the cute bite marks on the lid.
